21st century is a century of maxillary arch! Occlusion and dento-alveolar anomalesin the maxillary arch: clinical experience in respect of "maxilliary deficiency syndrome"

Clinical experience suggests that dento-alveolar anomalies in the maxillary arch are often interrelated and can be accompanied by skeletal forms of malocclusion involving the maxilla. The present report is based on a study of 273 individuals demonstrating various maxillary dentitional anomalies demonstrating their inter-relationship and discusses the concept of a “maxillary deficiency syndrome”.
