Prof. Mindra Badea

Head of the department of Preventive Dentistry at the Dental Medicine Faculty, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, România I promote healthcare and prevention in Dentistry. Since 2006 I have made contributions to the development of the Department of Prevention in Dentistry at Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, România. Since 1998 I have developed educational projects in the field of Preventive Dentistry aimed for the schools and colleges in Cluj-Napoca, being helped by students from the Faculty of Dental Medicine. My scientific research has been focused in the following areas: prevention aspects of caries and periodontal diseases, research upon photodynamic laser therapy in dentistry, investigations and interdisciplinary research on the use of ultrasound in the assessment of the dento-maxillary system.
