Prof. Dr. Dr. Angelo Troedhan is specialist in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery with focus on traumatology, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face and with a double-approbation also specialist in Dentistry. As leading ultrasonic surgeon and scientist in ultrasonic surgery, dental implantology, bone-augmentation and maxillofacial surgery he is a permanent invited speaker, lecturer and teaching surgeon at universities worldwide and at international congresses. His scientific focus at his time at the Medical University Vienna was laser-research and as member of the TKW-research-group – co-founded by him in 2005 – he developed patented piezoelectric surgical tools and published experimental backgrounds and clinical studies regarding ultrasonic-surgical devices and surgical protocols as well as implant-systems and currently chairs - as one of the founders of ultrasonic surgery - the International Academy of Ultrasonic Surgery and Implantology. He is also permanent member of the International Biomaterial Experts Group in Switzerland.
