Dr. Giovannoli is a well-known specialist in periodontology from Paris. His practice is limited to periodontics and oral implantology. He is the Past-Presidents of the French Society of Periodontology, and the founding President of the European Federation of Periodontology. He was the Chairman of EuroPerio 1 and organized the 1st EFP Master Clinic in Paris. As the Scientific Director of Quintessence International, he serves on the editorial board of several journals. He is a Guest Professor at the University of Corsica and runs a Clinic devoted to complications in implant dentistry. He is the author (with Stefan Renvert) of the hot book “Peri-implantitis” (2012), translated into 9 languages. Actually, his research interests concern the prevention and treatment of peri-implant diseases.
