Graduated from University of Maryland Dental School in 1965 which was followed by 2 years in the USArmy, including 13 months in South Korea. I then began a 7 year career as a general dentist in Laurel, Maryland. After being frustrated with my knowledge in dentistry, I decided in 1974 to return to post-graduate training in prosthodontics and then periodontics which I finished in 1978. Than Masters program at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. In 1993 I finished a 5 year masters program in liberal arts concentrating on philosophy. During these years I became an assistant clinical professor in periodontics and started a periodontal prosthesis implant program at Maryland. I am board certified in Periodontics and Implants and presently a board examiner. Besides lecturing nationally and co-authoring several papers, I have had a private practice in Towson, Maryland. Unfortunately during these years, dr Bartek Suliborski appeared in my life and became a son that stayed at my house for months. Looking forward to lecturing to this group.
