Dr. Adam Eisner received his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1989. The following year, he completed a one-year residency in general dentistry at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland. After his residency, he entered private practice in Silver Spring, MD and practiced twenty-three years until his retirement in September 2018. While in practice, Dr. Eisner was voted a top-rated dentist by Washington Consumers Checkbook Magazine in 2010 and 2014. In March 2019, Dr. Eisner received a full-time appointment as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry(UMSOD) in the Department of General Dentistry. He was assigned to the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program where mentors dental students and residents daily and also performs administrative duties. Prior to his hiring, Dr. Eisner joined the Dean’s Faculty at UMSOD in February 2018 and volunteered in both the Pre-Doctoral and AEGD Programs. Additionally, he holds a staff position at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. In 2021, he was named a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. Dr. Eisner is a past president of the UMSOD Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Baltimore Alumni Chapter of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and is a member of several local study clubs.
